Summer time is here and
the birds are singing, August is just around the corner. With the
biggest water event again slated for Creve Coeur Park Lake. You can be
part of the excitement and entertain your customers or build bonding
relationships with employees.
The St. Louis Grand
Prix offers outstanding opportunities for businesses to enjoy the fresh
air and intermingle with others at a sporting event. The Grand Prix
Corporate Village provides a reserved location from which you and your
guests can enjoy hospitality in the great outdoors and view all the race
action – right from the water’s edge.
While many events try
to offer a park-like setting, the St. Louis Grand Prix really is set in
a park where the sparkling waters of the spring-fed Creve Coeur Lake
reflect the endless blue skies over the Missouri River valley. The park
is located near the region’s population center within minutes of
Interstates 70 and 270, restaurants, thousands of first-class hotel
rooms and Lambert St. Louis International Airport. It’s a
customer-friendly location with plenty of space for spectator activities
and acres of parking within sight of the lake.
After three decades,
the St. Louis Championship Grand Prix has become known as the “Indy 500”
of boat racing and has raised nearly $2 million for local charities
supported by St. Louis-area Lions Clubs.
Last year’s Grand Prix
was attended by thousands of spectators. Hundreds of thousands of other
race fans were exposed to the event through the extensive local and
national media coverage that is annually attracted to this event.
A popular feature of
the Creve Coeur Lake race site is its ample water-front, which curves
around the northern half of the race course. The beach places spectators
close enough to the action to hear the boats bounce off one another in
the tight turns.
The race will be
supported by advertising in print, radio; televising and outdoor media
throughout the metropolitan area, assuring that 35th edition
will live up to its heritage. The race will again be televised
nationally.
